What we collect and why

The form is delivered to us by e-mail; nothing is stored in a database on this website. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers, and the site sets no cookies. Your language choice (English or Arabic) is kept in your own browser's local storage and never leaves your device. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server — no third-party service is loaded when you visit.
Legal basis
We process your data to take the steps you ask for before a contract (your enquiry and our proposal) and, where a contract follows, to perform it. Where the law requires consent — for example when we pass your data to our parent company outside Oman — you give it by sending the form or the message, and you may withdraw it at any time.
Who else sees it
- Artusa engineers in our parent company in Ankara, Türkiye, when an enquiry needs design, manufacturing or pricing support. This is a transfer outside the Sultanate; it is limited to what the enquiry needs.
- Our e-mail and web hosting provider, which stores the mailbox and the server logs on our behalf.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) if you contact us there — under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
- No one else. We do not sell, rent or share personal data for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months after the last contact, then deleted. Where an enquiry becomes a contract, the related records are kept for the period Omani commercial law requires for company records. Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider on a short cycle.
Your rights
Under the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman (Royal Decree 6/2022) and its executive regulation you may ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw a consent you have given. Write to oman@artusaoman.com; we answer within the period the law sets. You may also complain to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the competent authority for personal data protection in Oman.
Changes
This notice is dated 14 September 2026. If we change how we handle data, the new version is published on this page with its date.
